It's X-Mas time everybody!

Festivities in the air, lights and Christmas decorations everywhere.... yeah, it is Christmas time again!! Last week little bunny and her Aunt in Bangalore got busy decorating the Christmas tree with trinkents and lovely little ornaments. She helped her dearest Chitta and was certified as a very able assistant. A fun activity which definitely keeps the little ones very excited and happy for couple of hours.

The best part is that at the end you have a very beautiful festive looking home. The only problem that was not yet solved was how we could protect all our hard work from little rabbit who was on her prowl :-)

Back at hubby's hometown in Udupi also a lovely sight welcomed us home. Little bunny's and rabbit's Nani (grandma) had decorated the home so beautifully that put us into a festive spirit immediately.

Happy Christmas everybody, have a wonderful holiday season!!

The house that stands at the forest's edge

The winter viruses had payed us a visit in the last weeks. Glad they decided to leave without causing a lot of trouble. Little bunny has been very busy at her kindergarten rehearsing and practising a lovely play.
I have been working hard and attending weekend classes brushing up my German skills for an upcoming exam in March. What I want to say is that we have been crazy busy and the whole holiday season seems to be something of a distant past.
Anyway coming back to little bunny it was amazing to see the lovely winter's play that she was part of along with her group.
She was a little bear and the play was right out of one of the books she got as a gift for Christmas.
A lovely book and now reading it is all the more fun especially the part where the bears comes in is the part where there is super excitement. A lovely winters tale indeed all taking place in a house that stands at the forest's edge.

Merry Christmas

Thought this year we would have a white snowy Chrístmas. But it turned out to be quite a warm day (+6 deg) actually. Hope to have some more snow in the coming days.
The last days have been so much fun. I was baking and cooking in complete earnestness. Our home looked all decked up and pretty. The new version of my chocolate fruit cake turned out quite well. It was a perfect time to meet with friends and enjoy some yummy food together. It was fun to watch little bunny open her gifts with so much of glee on her face.
Wishing all of you a wonderful holiday time!
